Task Description/Responsibilities:

The Sr. Senior Software/Database Technician:

· Shall provide technical assistance in the development and maintenance of NGA databases.

· Develop imagery and geospatial information needs and requirements for the Joint Capabilities Development Process or NGA Requirements Management System as it pertains to US military operations

Education:

· High School level education, plus 2 yrs. demonstrated hands-on database technical experience.

Experience Requirements:

General:

· Current and relevant experience and knowledge of the DoD, NGA, and the IC community

· Minimum of 2 years experience in subject matter or Network/System/Software Engineering

Specialized:

Qualified Candidates must be:

· Familiar with Oracle and SQL Server

· Familiar with MS Access

· Configuration Management (CM), query, and data correction

· Familiar with Visual Basic

· Proficient with web interface development

Specific Requirements:

Required (Essential Skills Exp):

· Must have Access Database Experience, Configuration Management (CM), query, & data correction experience

· Writing experience related to the writing/drafting of INTEL related documentation and reports

· Demonstrated ability to turn around short suspense tasks

· Ability to clearly communicate in Standard US English, both orally and in writing.

· Must be skilled and proficient in the use of Personal Computers (PCs, Mac, etc.), and skilled in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

Citizenship:

· Must be a US Citizen

Security Clearance:

· Current TS/SCI required. (TS/SCI with CI or Life Style Poly Highly Desired)
