Task Description/Responsibilities:

·         Test Engineer will:

·         Develop test procedures and scenarios for software and hardware upgrades;

·         Translate requirements into test plans; write, coordinate, and publish the test plan;

·         Conduct DT&E I, as required;

·         Publish formal test results;

·         Maintain a record of informal system (hardware and/or software) tests;

·         Coordinate re-testing of items failing formal test;

·         Develop re-test plans for items that failed formal testing;

·         Support the customer during confidence tests, informal tests of upgrades, DT&E, and OAT&E.

 

Education:

·         HS Diploma, or GED. and at least seven (7) years of systems engineering experience; or,

·         A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical discipline and at least three (3) years of systems engineering experience in a DoD C2, C3, or C4ISR Development and/or Life-Cycle Support Program.

 

Experience:

·         The The Test engineer is required to have a minimum of 2 years experience in the following areas:

·         (1) testing information processing in a Client/Server network,

·         (2) testing developed software,

·         (3) writing test reports, and

·         (4) conducting development test and evaluations. Perform failure analyses and identify weaknesses in the fielded configurations.

 

Required Technical Skills:

·         Must have Hands-On Experience with the UNIX Client/Server network environment and Macintosh OS Client platforms.

 

Security Clearance:

·         Current TS/SCI required (CI or Life Style Poly highly desired)
