Task Description/Responsibilities:

· The Electronics Technician will work on various types of electronic equipment and related devices. Tasks performed will be a combination of installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting, modifying, fabricating, and testing electronic equipment and systems.

· Applies practical knowledge principles, isolates malfunctions using established tools and techniques, performs preventive and corrective maintenance on system equipment identified in system baseline documentation, and returns faulty equipment to operating condition.

· Position requires extensive travel within the United States and overseas.

Education:

· HS Diploma, or GED.

Experience:

· At least 3 years of practical electronics experience, including:

· SUN, Macintosh installation and maintenance

· LAN/WAN installation, configuration, and maintenance

· Hardware integration and maintenance

Specific Experience Requirements:

· Required (Essential Skills and Exp):

· SUN, Macintosh installation and maintenance;

· LAN/WAN installation, configuration and maintenance;

· Hardware integration and maintenance

· Able to lift up to 50 pounds from the floor to a desk or table top.

Security Clearance:

· Current TS/SCI required (CI or Life Style Poly highly desired)
