Task Description/Responsibilities:

·         Individuals conduct analyses and assessments of technological, engineering, and scientific research, of new and emerging technologies for application in development of Counter IED (CIED) technologies and operational tactics.

·         Assesses the Operational Characteristics of IEDs and develops tactical and technical recommendations for detecting and countering ( minimizing and/or neutralizing) the affects of these devices.

·         Researches and analyses available data relative to Hostile Force IED technical and tactical operations, develops and provides recommended technical and tactical solutions.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

·         Bachelors, Masters, or specialized Degree with 8 yrs. Counter Intelligence/Counter Terrorism analysis experience; or,

·         Completion of Specialized Training with 10 yrs. Hands-On Counter Intelligence/Counter Terrorism experience; or,

·         Equivalent Counter Intelligence/Counter Terrorism Experience and Education/Training, satisfactory completion of equivalent military or civilian technical training; or,

·         Is a Credentialed Counter Intelligence/ Counter Terrorism Subject Matter Expert (SME), or, recognized specialist in the field.

 

Experience:

·         Minimum 8 yrs of Hands-On Counter Intelligence/Counter Terrorist Analysis Experience

·         Recent JITF-CT experience a plus.

 

Security Clearance:

·         Current DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance required.
