Task Description/Responsibilities:

·         Provides telephone and in-person computer and telecommunications support to users (Includes e-mail, LAN/WAN, Operating System, Standard Desktop Images, COTs/ GOTs Applications, Log-On/Passwords/User-ID, Directories, Peripheral Equipment/Printers/Scanners, etc.)

 

·         Serves as initial point of contact for troubleshooting all computer and telecommunications related problems including hardware, software, passwords, and peripheral equipment problems.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

·         HS/GED with 4 yrs. directly related Help Desk experience in a DoD Environment.

 

·         Associates Degree with 2 yrs. directly related Help Desk experience in a DoD Environment.

 

·         Bachelor’s Degree with 0 yrs. directly related Help Desk experience in a DoD Environment.

 

Specific Experience Requirements:

Required/Essential Skills/Experience:

·         Proficiency in the Use and Operation of MS Windows, MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Remedy

 

·         Ability to communicate both orally and in writing

 

·         Excellent Customer Service skills and personnality.

 

Security Clearance:

·         DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance required (Full Scope Poly Preferred)
