Task Description/Responsibilities:

The System Administrator:

· Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.

· Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.

· Provides support to IT systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems.

· Provides second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.

· Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.

· Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

Minimum Qualifications: (Must be a US Citizen)

Education/Experience:

(One of the Following)

· HS/GED plus 9 yrs directly related experience

· Associates Degree in a related discipline plus 7 yrs directly related experience

· BS Degree in a related discipline, plus 5 yrs directly related experience

· Masters Degree in a related discipline plus 3 yrs directly related experience

Specific Experience Requirements:

Required/Essential Skills/Experience:

· Must have experience in one or more systems and architectures and associated hardware: mainframe, mini, or client/server based.

· Must be in compliance with DoD Dir 8570.1-M (A+, Network+, or Security+ Certifications)

· Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing

Security Clearance:

· Current DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI or Full Scope/Life Style Poly required
