Task Description/Responsibilities:

· The selected individual will be responsible for all duties related to SAP level systems and networks located at USSTRATCOM.

· The Computer Security Systems Engineer will:

· Serve as a principal advisor to address IT related matters to include Network Engineering, Management, Security, Accreditation, Policies, and Procedures.

· Serve as the Information Systems Network Manager for projects relative to information systems, network architecture, cryptographic devices, and communications infrastructure.

· Interact with multiple external agencies for IT support, planning, and project engineering

· Develop, implement, and coordinate activities designed to protect and ensure the availability of SAP network services

· Ensure the integrity of all IT components and supported data through the analysis of information system security profiles, programs, policies, procedures, and tools.

· Monitors and evaluates Systems compliance with IT Security Requirements.

· Formulate Policies and Guidance based on assessment of requirements not addressed in existing Security Directives and Operations.

· Provide technical assistance in support of all assigned network assets and users.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

· B.S or equivalent education and experience.

Experience:

· Qualified Candidates shall possess a minimum of 5yrs of related Computer Security Systems Engineering Experience in a classified environment.

Specific Experience Requirements:

· Required Certifications:

· A+

· Security+

(CISSP Highly desired)

Security Clearance:

· Qualified Candidates must be United States citizens, and possess a current Top Secret Clearance

· Qualified Candidates must also be eligible for access to SCI and SAP.

· Candidates with current TS/SCI/SAP are highly desired.
